Strong Minds, Open Doors – Youth Action for Health, Hygiene & Accessibility

Dear Chapter Leaders,

Yi’s Health and Accessibility verticals are launching a nationwide awareness and advocacy drive this September 2025.
Under the motto Strong Minds, Open Doors – Youth Action for Health, Hygiene & Accessibility, chapter-level Round Tables will run across India, culminating in the National Health & Accessibility Summit at the end of September or early October.
This is our opportunity to amplify voices from the ground, showcase commitment, and shape the national agenda on youth health and accessibility.

🔹 What You Need to Do

Plan and Host a Chapter Round Table in September (2-hour format)

Part 1: Health Modules

• Mental Health Awareness (Break the Stigma)
• Teen Mental Resilience (Strong Mind, Strong World)
• Substance & Peer Pressure (Say No to Peer Pressure)
• Water, Hygiene & Sanitation (Hygiene Heroes)

Part 2: Accessibility Modules

• Physical Access (More than Ramps)
• Inclusive Education & Workplaces
• Accessible Healthcare & Services
• Attitudes & Awareness (Changing the Lens)

Engage Diverse Participants

• Yi members, youth, educators, parents
• Local health experts, counselors, disability advocates, NGOs
• Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), civic representatives

Capture Insights & Stories

• Use the reporting template (1-pager provided in toolkit)
• Submit by 28th September with photos, key takeaways, and inspiring quotes/stories

Promote Visibility

• Post on social media with **#YiHealth25 and #EnableAccess2025
• Tag Yi national handles – FB, Twitter and Insta

• Influence policy through the national communique presented to ministries
• Showcase your chapter’s leadership on health and accessibility
• Contribute to a national movement culminating at the Summit and beyond
